| Ingredients | 2 Large Heads Of Cabbage Or 3-4 Small Heads Of Cabbage 3 Cups Uncooked Calrose Rice 6 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper 3 Teaspoons Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoons Allspice 1/8 Teaspoon Turmeric 1 1/2 Tablespoons Dried Dill 1 Large Bunch Cilantro,chopped 3 Lemons,juices 3 Onions, Coarsely Chopped 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef 6 Cups Beef Broth |
| Directions | Preheat Oven To 350 Degrees. Place Cabbages In Large Pot. Fill Pot With Water Until Cabbages Are Almost Covered. Place On Stove Over High Heat Until Water Is Boiling. Boil Cabbages For Thirty Minutes. Remove, Drain And Let Cool. Mix Rice, Olive Oil, Pepper, Salt, Allspice, Turmeric, Dill, Cilantro, Lemon Juice, Onions, And Ground Beef In Large Bowl Until Thoroughly Combined. Cover Mixture And Refrigerate. Pull Leaves From Cabbage, Making An Effort To Keep The Leaves Whole. Take One Cabbage Leaf And Place About A Tablespoon (depending On Size Of Cabbage Leaf) Of Mixture. Fold Outer Edges Together, Then Roll From Top To Bottom. Repeat With Remaining Leaves. Place Stuffed Cabbage Leaves In Roasting Pan, Layering If Necessary. Pour Beef Broth Over Rolls, Making Sure That The Beef Broth Just Covers The Rolls. Cover The Roasting Pan With Aluminum Foil And Bake For 2 1/2 Hours. Remove Foil And Bake For Fifteen Minutes Or Until Cabbage Rolls Are Browned. Let Cool For At Least Fifteen Minutes And Enjoy! |
